Tasos Mantzavinos at Skoufa Gallery with one of our favourite heroes as protagonist, on Tuesday January 17th at 7.30 p.m.

Mantzavino got inspired by this theme as many painters did: Sikeliotis, Migadis, Bost, Argyrakis, even Nikos Hadjikyriakos-Gkikas, Tsarouchis and others. Today our artist is presenting his point of view about the Shadow Theater, with his own special way. His paintings are influenced by memories of plays he saw and the folk drawings of the Karagkiosis players, like: “The magic tree”, “Alexander The Great and the Cursed Snake”, etc.

Ladies and Gentlemen let the show begin!
